Evaluation for short film

                        What did you like about working on this project? 

                                    Team working, Filming,Editing


Team working

I am always happy with team working . I like to work with different people with different ideas and opinions. I think team working  is important as much as  another parts of a project .I think this part is more experiential , working with few people in a group is exiting. I am satisfied with team working to learnt how I can deal with different people and how I can mange a project practically as part of a group .I think it was a  great experience for my future as well ,to exchange my idea with other people. 

for my future filming I would like to work with the people which are more flexible and also a little more organise .people which fallow the plan that it had made already to go ahead  step by step. I am more happy if I work with the people which after the filming check the shots and communicate about  probably mistakes to modify them .think it is better to re shot our work if it required. 

Filming

I liked filming in this project because it was a new experience for  filming  in new locations.

 Teacher gave us good chance to using outside locations for this project. It was an opportunity  if were located out side for this project to have a different background in new locations.
 I was more confident with filming roles and tools.
 I was not too use to with this genres and matching it with locations , So I feel I could experience a genre with it related locations which I did not know it before .For filming we did not use any props just a camera.
Also Teacher showed us a new shot bu were we using a props (  fig rig)We used this props for one of our shot.
Almost for all of our shots we took the camera by hand in  locations. We used natural lights and natural background sound. I could know more about how to work on the scene.

Editing 

Editing is last part of project so it is sessions should be more focus on it. I like to do editing on my own and I am happy with it.
I think it is more effective if I do myself and I can find the point which I am not very good at it. I could do editing by myself in this project. I did not have difficulty just a problem with the software that it did not let me to add my projects (titles) and it took my time. I was really confident to doing editing by my own for this project however tried to get advice from tauter.


What did not go so well ?Communication in team?  
I think every think goes well, planning, per prediction, filming . However we did very well every thing but I was more enjoined with filming. 

Communication 
I was a little unhappy with my group at the beginning of the project but I tried to be potions to work with guys.
In during the filming project I would liked to mention my opinion and what I know about things I have learned from films production  lessons. So I would like to work with people which be hearing to other group members. I would like to work with flexible people to have communicate for per prediction stuffs and also in the filming day.

What would you do differently next time ?

I would like to experience other genres like dram and  romance . I am interested to work on the real genres more.

I want to more focus on project specially when we are on the scenes. 

In the past two projects I was working we did not have female in our group and there was not different gender so I would like to have chance to be in the group  with at least one girls.
I was enjoined to be as an actor in this project Although I had short acting in it. With this experience I am more interested to  acting in the future projects.

I would like to edit my work by using variety of effects options,
I would like to more do preparation with the group for next project before the filming.
I would more work with camera. 

How could your film be improved / (editing/sound/filming etc... ?
I am confidence with editing  to all options which we learned to edit a film. In during the project I would like to be focusing on my work and finish my work little faster.
I had problem with my computer I saved wrongly my works in the system that way it happen.
I liked my film music sound. For next project I would like to compose few music to adopt to my 
videos to make appropriate thing between the my video by music sound. I would like to a professional music.

What would you rate your film out of 10 and why ?Be honest
I would like to give number (8) to my self.

Proposal for short film

We are going to make a 60 to 90 short film. The film is going to be made as a  kind of (SI FI) genre.

The film story became from an unreal and fantasy idea.
The Story is about a few friends in the college. One day when they are walking in the college through  the corridor  suddenly one of them face by a strange object on the ground  (a pendant) . He step on the something on the floor  and it grup  his attention. He look back down interestingly and then he realize which it is  a  pendent. He pick up pendant from ground. The object is a thing that change the guy feeling by shaking his face and his body . The pendant power takes him to a different world,it mesmerized him by the intense colors rounding him. front of him  .
A week latter he realize  he has a supper human power and can read people's minds.
He is able to see into the future. One day he wear the pendant in his neck and goes to  college .When  he is speaking with his friend in the class room the  teacher is getting in the class room. He looks at the pendant.The object attract him as well . He ask  about object to student and request to getting it  form him .
The teacher then takes the pendant off the student but not knowing that when he is departed from the pendent his spirit is attached to the pendent making his spirit leave his body and will being trapped in the other world.So they should steal the pendant from class room and try to return the teacher friend spirit in his body by going to (other side).
They  have to battle different way to achieve to their aim ,running through the corridor and go down the stairs,despair in the dark .

Short film Story summary


In the college there is a few friends walking down a hallway, one of them step on something on the ground whilst walking by, he then looks back down at the ground wondering what he had stepped on. Friend is still walking in front, he then bends down to get a closer look.


 He picks it up off the ground razing his arm up slightly, watching it sway back and forth still glancing at it he gets more and more drawn into it, being mesmerized by the intense colours. He mumbles to himself saying.

“It’s a Pendant. “

1-Long shot  (in the college few friend are walking down a hallway)

2-close up on his foot ( one of them step on something ( pendant ) on the ground while is walking he looks back down at the ground and wandering what he had stepped on it)

3-Mide shot ( he is coming back to look at pendant )

- close up – shallow depth  of field – focus on the person by his friends back ground ( friend still are walking on the back ground and he bend down to get a closer look on the floor)

4-mide shot  ( He picks it up off the ground razing his arm up slightly )

-Close up He picks up of the ground razing his arm up slightly ) focusing on his arm .

-  Close up on his face ( he mumbles to himself and saying - It’s a pendant- ) his friend is in back ground, calling him.

Then his friend calls his name. He then snaps out of his trance and puts the pendant in his pocket and catches up with his friend.

A week later he begins to feel super human powers and is able to read people’s minds and is able to see into the future. One day he goes into class and begins to talk to his friend across the room. The teacher then comes walking over and looks at him and says.

“What is that?” “Give it to me now”

So they then have to steal the pendant back from the teacher’s room and to go to the other side to get his friend back and to return his spirit form back into his body.

They have to battle their way through the different dimensions, running through the dark hallways and down the stairs.

Locations

For this project we are going to us e few locations by flowing the story step by step.

1.For first session we are going to do some shooting  through a  corridor in the college.

2.Second location is where we are going to on the down of the

The film is considering to be kind of film which represent masteries and scary emotional to audience feeling .

Today we fill up all of sheets such as story board, call sheet , commitment sheet.
We are going to prepare all thing we need for before the shooting day.

Call sheet shows members duty and participation in this project such as director, producer and actors.

This is location which we are going to be using as dark stairs at the end of our story when the guy are trying to return their friend from other side . they are running down stairs  and then dispire in the darkness.  



This is location which is  going to be placed  as a corridor which the student are walking through it in the first shot.





These are locations  from outside of college . We visited few location outside of college which they had brilliant background for film recording.We visited the place which they do not need to get permission . It was an advantage for us which the spaces were ready without any costing. 






This is a location by rounding the building . I liked this location . It remind me holy wood films locations . I think this a kind of a  professional  location for filming and we can use it for our  future projects.



This location is spacial for long shots . The natural light is all over the locations.







These two location are the best part of locations which we visited. The location has godd background , the way which  could be using as

We are going to make a short film .

Today we watched kind of a romance- sociality short film today. The film include two genre so it was  a hybrid genre film . Romance was main genre and in during the story genre of sociology was too close to other genre. Romance genre was the genre that main character ( a lady ) was play a rules for it as objective for this story but in somehow sociology genre was more featuring because  the lady was looking for a love which she had

It was kind of a roman and sociology film which it try to show a cople life story by three children . The cople were seprated for few years and they  live sepretly. The lady live with three children which she is struggling with hard a life .
The lady is looking after tree little children which those are from cople however  they both shoulod be responsible for looking after thier childeren .
In second part of story the lady go back to his former partner and it is very
 after them
at the narrative structure as well. The film had romantic genre .
In the narrative structure option which it include in the film we watch an lienier film.
.The film was kind of realistic film .
.The film was more kind of closed film which it did nit leave the quatrain for viewers .
. This film had one main character in the star but in few minute latter his main character children added and participate in then film. The film is somehow a multi strand but it can be kind of single strand.
